About IR Blaster Remote
IR Blaster turns a compatible Android device into an infrared remote. Users can create, import, test, and send signals represented as hexadecimal codes or raw timings, and can import .ir files. Signals can be transmitted through a phone’s built-in infrared emitter, supported USB IR dongles, or audio-to-infrared adapters. More than 20 infrared protocols are supported. A signal tester can try codes when the correct one is unknown, and remotes can be backed up and restored. The app provides a flexible way to work with different infrared hardware and signal formats, but transmission requires a supported emitter or adapter. Compatibility with a particular device depends on its infrared protocol and sending hardware.
