About iSpindle Plotter
iSpindle Plotter receives fermentation readings from an iSpindel hydrometer over the local Wi-Fi network. The phone runs a small HTTP server for the device to send measurements to, then stores and charts tilt angle, temperature, specific gravity, and battery voltage. Readings can be viewed over several time ranges and exported as CSV. The app helps home brewers calibrate the hydrometer using their own sugar-solution measurements, and can fit linear, quadratic, or cubic calibration curves. It estimates fermentation stage, overlays a predicted final gravity with an uncertainty band, and projects battery life at the current sample rate. Users can trim early data before a chosen date and time. The app stores data on the phone and serves the device only on the local network, according to the supplied description. It requires compatible iSpindel firmware and a local network connection. Calibration and predicted values depend on measurement quality and the selected calibration curve, so they should be treated as estimates.
