About Jolta
Jolta automates switching and installation of Java Development Kit versions on a per-project basis. A JDK provides the tools needed to build and run Java applications, and different projects can depend on different JDK versions. Jolta is designed to select the appropriate version for the project being worked on and install it when necessary, reducing manual setup when moving among projects. Jolta automates two recurring setup tasks: obtaining a JDK and selecting a version for the active project. It keeps Java development environments aligned with individual projects through automatic JDK installation and switching. This reduces manual environment setup when moving between Java projects.
