About JwksFetch
JwksFetch retrieves a public JSON Web Key from a JWKS endpoint or through OpenID Connect discovery and writes it as a PEM key. JWKS is a format for publishing public keys used to verify signed tokens, while OpenID Connect discovery can identify the endpoint where those keys are published. The tool is a single native executable and does not require a separate .NET runtime. Its output can be passed to a token-decoding or verification command, supporting a workflow in which the public key is fetched first and then used for offline signature checks. JwksFetch is intended for developers and administrators who need to retrieve verification keys from identity services. It provides a focused command-line step for turning a published key into PEM format.
