About JwtDecoder
JwtDecoder decodes JSON Web Tokens locally and can optionally verify their signatures. It supports major JOSE algorithm families, including HMAC, RSA, RSA-PSS and elliptic-curve signatures. The tool can validate expiry and not-before claims and extract individual claims using query expressions. A token can be inspected as a standalone command or used in a pipeline. Signature verification can use a key read from a file or standard input, making it possible to combine JwtDecoder with a prior key-fetching step. Decoding and verification run offline. JwtDecoder is distributed as a single native executable without a runtime requirement. It is intended for developers and operators who need to inspect claims and validate signed tokens from the command line.
