About Kasette
Kasette is an offline music player for audio files stored on an Android device. Users import MP3, FLAC, M4A, Ogg, Opus, WAV, and AAC files, then browse their songs by title, artist, or album. The app reads embedded tags and cover artwork locally, and playlists can be enabled in settings. Playback continues in the background with controls on the lock screen and in notifications. The interface supports light and dark themes, accent colors, and background options, with language choices including English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, and Simplified Chinese. A whole library can be exported or restored as a single backup file to local storage, an SD card, or a USB drive. Kasette has no accounts, servers, network access, or cloud synchronization; the library stays on the device. It is intended for users who want local playback and control over their own music collection rather than streaming.
