About Keep Alive Lite
Keep Alive Lite monitors whether the phone has been used and can alert selected contacts if the user does not respond to an inactivity check. Users choose a monitoring method, such as lock and unlock activity or use of selected apps, set how long inactivity can continue before a prompt appears, and choose how long to wait for acknowledgment. If the prompt is not acknowledged, the app can send a custom SMS to one or more contacts, place a phone call, include location information, or send an HTTP request to a configured endpoint. A rest-period schedule can pause inactivity counting during chosen hours, and monitoring can restart after an alert. The app runs on the device without an account or cloud service. An active cellular plan is needed for SMS or calls; Wi-Fi calling and messaging may work if supported by the device. Keep Alive Lite is intended as an inactivity alert tool, but delivery depends on the device, software, and network. After a restart, monitoring cannot assess recent activity until the phone is unlocked; on some Android versions, an alert before unlock may rely only on the last saved state. The app’s alert behavior should not be treated as a guarantee of emergency response.
