About kwok
KWOK simulates Kubernetes nodes so users can create a cluster with thousands of node objects quickly and with a relatively low resource footprint. The simulated nodes behave like real ones for the purposes supported by the toolkit, making it possible to explore large-cluster scenarios on a development machine without provisioning equivalent physical or cloud resources. This can support experiments and testing where cluster scale matters. The product description does not enumerate which node behaviors are simulated, how workloads are handled, or the limits of the simulation. KWOK is therefore a toolkit for creating large simulated clusters, not a way to provision thousands of full production machines.
