About Lêers
Lêers is a small Android launcher shortcut that opens the device’s built-in Files app, also known as DocumentsUI. On supported devices, tapping its icon opens the system file manager in browsing mode. It provides a direct entry point to a system app that may otherwise be less visible in the launcher. The shortcut itself does not browse or manage files. It opens the Android component that handles file browsing, and the system controls what locations are available. In particular, access to the Android/data and Android/obb folders depends on the device’s DocumentsUI implementation and vendor settings. Lêers is intended for users who want a home-screen icon for the built-in file browser. It does not request storage permission, access files on its own, connect to the network, or run a background service; its role is simply to open the system file manager when tapped.
