About Lemuroid
Lemuroid is an Android emulator frontend that brings support for many classic game systems into one app. It can scan and index game files supplied by the user, including compressed ROMs, then organize them for launching. The app does not include games; users must provide game files they are legally entitled to use. Supported systems include classic Atari consoles and handhelds, Nintendo home consoles and handhelds, Sega systems, PlayStation, arcade games, and several other handheld platforms. Features include automatic save-state creation and restoration, quick save and load slots, fast-forward, and visual display simulation such as LCD or CRT effects. Touch controls can be customized in size and position, and gamepads, device tilt, and local multiplayer with multiple controllers are supported. Cloud save synchronization is also listed. Lemuroid is designed for Android phones and TVs, with an interface focused on making emulation setup straightforward. Not every device can emulate every system: more recent or demanding platforms require a sufficiently powerful device. The app is open-source and ad-free.
