About liteshort

liteshort is an Android client for shortening URLs through a liteshort server. From the main screen, the user can shorten a URL from the clipboard or enter a long address and a preferred short address, similar to the server’s web interface. This makes it possible to create short links without manually opening a browser page for the service. A Quick Settings tile provides another workflow: tapping the tile takes the URL currently on the clipboard, shortens it through the configured server, and replaces the clipboard contents with the short URL. This is useful when a link is being prepared for sharing and the user wants to shorten it directly from the system settings shade. The app is a client and requires access to a liteshort server; it does not provide a shortening service on its own. The supplied description does not specify how servers are configured or how links are managed after creation. Its documented role is to submit URLs to a compatible server from the app interface or Quick Settings tile.
