About LiveTempo
LiveTempo helps musicians organize set lists and keep track of song tempos during live performances. Users create playlists of songs and assign a reference BPM, or beats per minute, to each one. During a performance, a live tempo check can show the band’s current tempo beside the song’s reference tempo and indicate whether the playing is faster or slower. A visual metronome pulse and a large, full-screen BPM display provide additional ways to follow the target tempo on stage. The app includes two ways to determine tempo: users can tap along to a rhythm, or use automatic detection through the microphone. The automatic audio analysis is performed on the device. Playlist management includes drag-and-drop and button-based reordering, color-coded tempo ranges, and the ability to import playlists from a video service. For hands-free navigation, LiveTempo supports Bluetooth MIDI controllers. Users can customize fonts and sizes in list and tempo views, and choose a dark theme intended for stage settings. Cloud storage for playlists is available through an account created with an email address and password. The supplied information describes the app in Italian and English.
