About Lokalize
Lokalize is a computer-aided translation tool for software localization and document translation. It supports translation of OpenDocument text files, extracting text from an `.odt` document into an XLIFF file for translation and merging the translated content back into the document. This separates the translation text from the original document while preserving a path back to the completed file. The application is intended for translating software and other text, and its file workflow can be used for OpenDocument documents as well. Extracting and merging the content gives translators a structured way to work through a document and return the translated text to its original format.
