About Malarm
Malarm is an offline Android alarm scheduler for one-time reminders and recurring events. Users can set an alarm for a particular date, such as a bill due date, or create schedules that repeat daily, on weekdays or weekends, weekly on selected days, or monthly. Alarms can appear full-screen over the lock screen and use a chosen sound or remain silent. Snooze intervals range from five minutes to eight hours, and a default snooze duration can be configured. When the device’s time or time zone changes, alarms are rescheduled to the corresponding local time. Users can import or export their alarms in a backup file, remove inactive alarms in one action, and review an event log showing what each alarm did. Malarm works offline and does not use accounts, advertising, or tracking. On newer Android versions, it needs permissions for notifications, full-screen alerts, and exact alarms so scheduled alerts can ring and wake the screen. It is open-source software under the MIT license.
