About MapComplete
MapComplete provides editable maps organized around more than 70 topics, from restaurants and shops to healthcare services, public facilities, artworks, playgrounds, schools, and charging stations. Selecting a map feature shows its available details. If information is missing, users can answer questions to add it to the shared map database; this requires an account. Some feature types also support anonymous reviews. The app can display images associated with mapped places, and users can contribute new images from within the app. Its thematic approach lets people focus on a particular kind of place or service rather than browsing a general map. MapComplete combines discovery with community data editing, so local knowledge can be used to fill gaps in descriptions of places and amenities.
