About MAUS
MAUS is a Windows 11 utility that audits, repairs, and optimizes a PC. It begins with a read-only audit of updates, settings, privacy, power, drivers, and hardware health, then explains each finding and the potential benefit, risk, and undo path for a proposed change. Users choose which fixes to apply. Before making a change, MAUS creates a verified restore point, records the original value, and keeps a log so the change can be undone. The utility also includes hardware diagnostics, live sensors, CPU, RAM, and video-memory stability tests, plus visual graphics-card and processor benchmarks, including DirectX 11 and 12 and a ray-tracing test. MAUS is intended for Windows 11 users who want to inspect system condition and apply maintenance changes with a review and rollback path. The interface is available in French, English, and Spanish, and the application states that it does not collect telemetry.
