About Milki Launcher
Milki Launcher replaces the Android home screen with a customizable grid and a search bar that can find apps, contacts, files, or web results. Search prefixes can be used to choose a category, while an unprefixed query searches installed apps. The app drawer provides a separate grid of installed applications, and file search can locate documents on the device. Users can place apps, shortcuts, folders, and widgets on the home screen grid, drag items to rearrange them, and pin frequently used apps for quick access. Folders group related apps, and a built-in widget picker helps manage home screen widgets. The layout and settings can be exported and restored from a backup. Milki Launcher is intended for people who want search and home screen organization in one interface. Contact and file search depend on granting the corresponding Android permissions, and the screen lock feature uses device administrator access. Its custom grid, app drawer, and search modes provide alternatives to the device’s default launcher.
