MinkLauncher OpenSource is an Android launcher built around keyboard-first search and compact task and media panels. Its home screen has configurable app shortcuts, a drawer that can rank apps by use, and mini-apps for to-dos, a calculator, selected media, and Android’s active music session. Users can move among these panels with swipes, and a physical keyboard can open the focused search box immediately. The Magic Box accepts commands for tasks, notes, calendar events, contacts, calls, app search, and handoff to selected AI apps. Local file search can find photos, videos, documents, and audio; document search is limited to folders the user explicitly selects. Optional spaces can group messaging and email notifications, display selected app-usage totals with configurable limits, and host Android widgets. Private Space apps remain outside ordinary search and app drawers. The launcher also supports configurable colors and icon packs. Some features require optional access to calendars, notifications, media sessions, app usage, or other apps.
