About Mockzilla

Mockzilla is a mock server that builds API behavior from an OpenAPI specification. It can produce schema-based responses and validate incoming requests against the described interface, helping client work proceed before a production service is ready. Developers can configure simulated latency and error responses to exercise how an application handles slower or failing calls. Multiple APIs can be served by one server. When an upstream service is available, Mockzilla can proxy requests to it and fall back to mock responses. This provides a way to use the same endpoint in local development, automated integration pipelines, and offline or isolated environments. The specification and configuration determine which routes and responses are available, so the mock reflects the API definition supplied for the project.
