About MomentBackup
MomentBackup creates encrypted file histories on storage chosen by the user, including external drives, network-attached storage, and supported cloud storage. Users can browse earlier versions of files and restore a selected version. On Windows, it can also create whole-computer images that can be restored to a replacement drive after hardware failure. The application verifies backups, and restores remain available whether or not a license is active. Encryption keys remain on the computer, while the backup data is stored on the selected destination. This design lets users keep the storage under their own control, with options spanning local drives, network storage, and compatible cloud services. MomentBackup is intended for personal backup and recovery. Its file history supports restoring individual documents to earlier versions, while Windows system images provide a way to recover a whole computer. The destination can be selected according to the user’s storage setup.
