MultiLocale

MultiLocale lets users add languages to Android’s locale settings when the device manufacturer does not expose them in the standard language list.

About MultiLocale

MultiLocale lets users add languages to Android’s locale settings when the device manufacturer does not expose them in the standard language list. Some customized Android systems restrict which languages can be selected, limiting the ability to set a preferred locale for the device or apps. Adding a locale can help apps display text using the intended language conventions. For example, language-specific character forms may differ even when they share a script, and an unavailable locale can cause an app to show an unexpected variant. MultiLocale is a focused system-configuration utility for making additional locales available on supported devices. It is useful when a device needs a locale that is missing from its standard language picker.
