About Nachrichten
Nachrichten is an Android reader for RSS and Atom feeds with podcast support. Users can subscribe to feeds or synchronize reading with a personal Miniflux or Nextcloud server. The app presents articles in a modern, minimal interface and can show high-resolution preview images. Light and dark themes are available, and the interface is described as usable on older or lower-cost devices. A built-in podcast fetcher can retrieve podcast episodes for playback in an external player. The combination of feed subscriptions, server synchronization, article images, and podcast retrieval supports following news and audio through one reader. Nachrichten is not an official client for one of the supported services, though the description says that service is fully supported. It is described as open source and privacy-respecting; the supplied information does not detail its synchronization settings or offline reading behavior.
