About NeoLinker

NeoLinker is an Android utility that takes a link shared from another app and lets the user choose how to open it. It can pass the link to a selected browser, making it easier to open the same address in a browser different from the default. The app can also receive selected text and offer search or domain-checking actions. This is useful for links to self-hosted GitLab servers, where a user may want to open the address in a compatible mobile client rather than a browser. The chooser-based workflow also supports testing a page in different browsers. NeoLinker can provide search actions for selected text and check a link’s domain through an external reputation service. NeoLinker is a link-routing tool rather than a browser or code-hosting client. Its purpose is to make a choice of destination available when opening or sharing a URL, including links and selected text from other Android apps.
