About News Provider
News Provider is an RSS reader for adding and reading news feeds on a phone. It supports feeds in both RSS and Atom XML formats. A shortcut can be used to add a new feed, and background synchronization can retrieve updates without requiring users to manually refresh each source. The app provides a simple interface for reading the collected news, with light and dark themes. It includes one-handed use and screen-reader accessibility; its description specifically notes testing with TalkBack. These features support reading feeds in different settings and with different interaction needs. News Provider is an aggregator for feeds the user adds, rather than a described publisher or news source. The supplied information does not specify article search, offline archives, or synchronization across devices.
