About News Reader
News Reader is an RSS app for following news feeds in several categories, including general news, technology, science, and sports. It comes with a selection of feeds and lets users add their own, so headlines and articles from different sources can be read in one place. Feed languages can be selected from German, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, and Russian. The app can read news aloud using text-to-speech. A small widget shows the latest headline, while theme options adjust the reading interface. Settings can be backed up and restored, and the app is described as lightweight and designed for speed and low battery consumption. News Reader retrieves feeds over the internet. Storage access is used for backing up settings. Its listed features focus on RSS reading, spoken news, and feed configuration; the supplied information does not describe article archiving or synchronization between devices.
