About NewsBlur - News reader

NewsBlur is an Android reader for RSS and Atom subscriptions managed through a NewsBlur server. Users can read stories from their feeds, keep folders collapsed or expanded, save stories, and switch among different story views. A river-of-news view combines articles from several feeds in one stream, while training controls let readers hide stories they dislike and highlight topics they want to see more often. The app synchronizes stories and read or unread status with the server, keeping the same state across supported devices. Stories can be read offline, and saved or read status is synchronized again when the device reconnects. Users can share and comment on stories with friends and discover other readers with similar interests. Dark mode supports reading in low-light settings. NewsBlur is part of a server-based feed-reading system, so a compatible server or account is needed to access subscriptions. The Android app provides a mobile reading interface while the server collects feeds and synchronizes them across devices.
