NFC Quick Settings

NFC Quick Settings adds a tile to Android’s Quick Settings panel for checking NFC status and opening NFC settings.

About NFC Quick Settings

NFC Quick Settings adds a tile to Android’s Quick Settings panel for checking NFC status and opening NFC settings. Once added, the tile displays whether NFC is currently enabled. Tapping it opens the device’s NFC settings page, where users can switch NFC on or off. Android security restrictions mean a standard third-party app cannot directly change NFC state. The app offers an advanced mode that can toggle NFC from the tile, but that mode requires special permission granted through Android Debug Bridge on a desktop computer. The product is open source and provides no separate user interface beyond the Quick Settings tile and its configuration. It is intended to make NFC status and settings easier to reach, with direct toggling available only after additional setup.
