About NightDream
NightDream combines a desk clock, screensaver, alarms, radio, and weather display. Its clock can show the time, date, battery level, estimated time to full charge, and notifications from selected apps. Users can customize colors and fonts, switch between digital and analog faces, and resize the clock with a two-finger gesture. A dark mode can use a black background on AMOLED screens, and a home-screen clock widget is included. As an Android screensaver, NightDream can dim or turn off the display at night and reactivate it based on light or sound. Quick alarms can be set with a swipe. The app can play internet radio in the background or use a station as an alarm, and it can manage Wi-Fi to maintain streaming. Weather views include current conditions and a five-day forecast; location access can be used for local weather. It also supports smart-home integration. Notification display requires notification access, and the radio and weather features need network access. Other permissions support alarms, background playback, custom sounds, and the flashlight. NightDream is open source and is intended for a phone used as a bedside or desk clock, with additional screen, audio, and weather functions.
