About Nitter for Android
Nitter for Android is a mobile client for browsing a Nitter front end to a microblogging service. It uses Android WebView to present the site as a separate app, allowing its cookies and browsing history to remain separate from the user’s main browser app. The app is intended for people who want to access content through the Nitter interface from Android. Using an embedded web view provides a dedicated place to browse while keeping site data distinct from the browser’s ordinary session. The product information describes it as a client rather than a separate social network or content service. Nitter for Android relies on the compatible Nitter web service for content. Its main function is to provide a separate mobile browsing context with isolated cookies and history, rather than to manage posts or accounts independently.
