About Nomad - Hubzilla for Android
Nomad is an Android client for Hubzilla, a distributed social network. It provides access to most of the network’s features and can share content to and from other apps. Users can browse articles in an in-app browser, customize colors, and choose night or AMOLED display modes. The interface is localized in many languages and can use a language setting independent of the device’s system language. Nomad supports proxy connections, including Tor-based routing, for users who want to connect through a proxy. It is a mobile client for an existing Hubzilla account and network rather than a separate social service. The description identifies it as a fork of an earlier social networking app. The supplied evidence does not list every Hubzilla function available in Nomad or explain how proxy settings are configured. Its documented strengths are broad access to the social network, sharing integration, an in-app article view, language and color customization, and proxy support.
