About Nontrinsic
Nontrinsic is an archive for preserving and browsing nonsense, including entries that are structured, unstructured, intentional, or accidental. Users can explore the archive and contribute their own entries. Drafts are saved automatically until they are submitted, allowing a contribution to be started and completed later. The app can be used offline after the initial content has loaded. Entries may include text, images, video, and audio, providing several ways to present material. Users can connect to another Nontrinsic instance, and the interface supports Material You theming on Android 12 and later. Two app icon styles are available: a galaxy and a classic cluster design. Nontrinsic supports Android 5 and later and is described as having no tracking or analytics. It is intended for playful browsing and contribution to a shared archive, rather than conventional note-taking or publishing. Its local drafts and offline access support reading or composing without a continuous connection, while connecting to another instance expands the archive source.
