About Nope Remote

Nope Remote turns an Android phone with a built-in infrared blaster into a remote control for home entertainment devices. It supports televisions, set-top boxes, air conditioners, and other equipment that can be controlled through infrared. Users can send individual commands or build custom macros that combine several actions into one sequence, such as powering on multiple devices together. The app includes a database that can be downloaded for offline access, so remote-control information does not need to be fetched from a third-party content delivery service each time it is used. A setup flow supports multiple repositories, while Material You styling adapts colors to the device wallpaper. Light and dark themes are available, and haptic feedback provides tactile confirmation when a button is pressed. Nope Remote is intended for devices that have the required IR hardware; the app cannot send infrared commands without a compatible blaster. Its macros are useful for repeating multi-device routines, while the database and theme settings support day-to-day use of the remote interface.
