About Noppa Dice Roller
Noppa Dice Roller is a dice utility for tabletop role-playing games and tactical games, especially when a roll has several dice or modifiers. It accepts standard notation such as 3d6+5 and also supports specialized forms: repeated rolls, dice numbered from zero, keeping the highest result from a group, exploding dice that roll again on a chosen result, and zero-mean dice that can produce negative, zero, or positive values. Modifiers can be given names, such as a skill or strength bonus, and toggled on or off for a roll. Tags provide another way to filter which modifiers apply, which helps reuse a larger set of bonuses across different situations. Users can save and load modifier sets and retain roll history, allowing different configurations to be kept for different games or rule systems. The app also allows conditional or exploding-dice rules to be customized through configuration files. Noppa is intended to handle calculations that are cumbersome with physical dice or a basic roller, while leaving the game’s modifier choices under the user’s control.
