About NovaVoice
NovaVoice is a local, offline voice-dictation application for Windows. The user holds a key, speaks, and releases it, and the recognized text appears in the currently focused window. Speech recognition runs on the computer’s CPU, without requiring a GPU or sending audio to a cloud service. This supports dictation into different desktop applications without switching to a separate transcription document. NovaVoice is focused on converting speech into text; the accuracy and speed depend on the audio and the computer’s available processing resources. Its offline design makes it usable without an internet connection and keeps the dictation workflow on the local PC.
