About Nub
Nub is a JavaScript toolkit built around Node.js rather than replacing it with a new runtime. A single Rust-based binary can run JavaScript files and scripts, install dependencies, and manage Node itself. This gives developers a unified command-line entry point for common JavaScript project tasks while continuing to use Node’s existing extension surfaces. Nub is intended to augment a Node.js workflow, not require applications to be rewritten for a different runtime. The tools it can run depend on the installed Node environment and project dependencies. It combines runtime-related management and script execution in one utility for developers working with JavaScript projects.
