About NVC VHDL Simulator
NVC VHDL Simulator is a software compiler and simulator for VHDL hardware-description projects. A compiler translates the language into a form the tool can execute, while simulation lets designers examine how a digital design behaves before using it in hardware. NVC implements nearly all of the IEEE 1076-2008 VHDL standard, making it relevant to engineering workflows that use standardized VHDL constructs. The tool supports both compilation and simulation rather than only syntax editing. It is intended for developers and hardware designers working with VHDL descriptions; the results depend on the design, test inputs, and language features used in a project.
