About NymVPN
NymVPN is a cross-platform VPN client with two network-routing modes. One routes traffic through a decentralized mix network intended to obscure metadata, while another uses a multi-hop WireGuard-based tunnel for lower-latency connections. The client gives users a choice between those approaches according to whether metadata protection or speed is the priority. It also describes payments designed to avoid linking payment activity to online use. These are privacy features of the product’s design, not a guarantee of anonymity in every situation. Connection performance and access depend on the chosen mode, network conditions, and configured service. NymVPN is a client for routing traffic; it does not control the policies of sites or services users access.
