About OneTimeAlarm
OneTimeAlarm is a reminder app for alarms that are needed once and then should disappear. A user can set an alarm for today or tomorrow; after it rings, the alarm is deleted automatically. This is intended for one-off reminders, such as leaving for an appointment or catching a train, where a recurring alarm would be inappropriate and leaving old alarms in a standard alarm list would create clutter. The app’s scope is deliberately narrow. It only supports non-repeating alarms for the current day or the following day, and its description says it is not intended to replace a regular alarm clock or calendar. It is aimed at a different task: setting a single, near-term alert that can ring loudly and then remove itself after it has served its purpose. That automatic cleanup is the central part of the workflow. Instead of remembering to delete an alarm afterward, the user can rely on it being removed when it fires. The limited scheduling window also means it is not described as a tool for long-term planning, recurring schedules, or maintaining calendar events. For users who want a temporary alarm without a repeating entry, the app keeps the process focused on creating and clearing that one reminder.
