About OpenDrummer - Drum Loops
OpenDrummer provides a collection of drum loops in different styles and tempos, intended to accompany practice. The loops are audio files created by converting MIDI material with soundfonts. Users can choose grooves to add a rhythmic backing to their playing, with variation in style and tempo to support different practice needs. The playback tempo can be adjusted by up to ten percent in either direction. The description cautions that changing tempo also changes pitch, an important practical limitation for musicians who want to keep the original sound. The available information does not list the included styles, loop lengths, file formats, or playback controls. OpenDrummer’s documented role is to supply drum-loop audio for practice, rather than to provide a full drum machine or music-production environment.
