openteams is a local-first desktop workspace for coordinating multiple AI coding agents. It brings agents together in one workspace so developers can organize their work with a team of agents under their control. The application is open source and is intended to support planning, building, and shipping software with agent assistance. A shared workspace provides a place to coordinate these coding tasks rather than treating each agent as an isolated interaction. openteams is focused on managing agent-assisted software work from a desktop environment, with the work organized locally around the user’s projects. Its focus is coordinating software-building work across the agent team.
