About OpenTofu
OpenTofu is an open-source tool for defining and managing cloud infrastructure. It uses a declarative approach: users describe the desired infrastructure, and OpenTofu can build, change, and version that environment. It works with existing service providers as well as custom in-house solutions, giving teams a way to apply infrastructure-management workflows across different environments. Versioning allows changes to the infrastructure definition to be tracked over time, while the declarative model provides a basis for making a real environment match its intended configuration. OpenTofu is aimed at managing infrastructure as code rather than configuring each resource manually through separate interfaces. It versions infrastructure definitions as they change.
