About openZinkBooth
openZinkBooth is an Android photo booth app for capturing and printing photos with a compatible Sprocket printer. Users can take a picture, preview it, choose a filter or frame, and send it directly to the printer over Bluetooth. Photos from the gallery can also be printed, so the app is not limited to images taken during the current session. The app includes six filters and five frame styles, and users can add their own transparent PNG overlays. A frame manager can add, reorder, show, hide, or delete custom frames. The interface adapts to phones and tablets in portrait or landscape, and the app can remember its last paired printer and reconnect automatically. Printer settings such as sleep timer, automatic power-off, and LED color can be adjusted from the app. openZinkBooth uses a Material 3 interface with dynamic color. It is intended for quick photo booth sessions and direct printing, with custom frames and gallery support extending its use beyond a single photo capture.
