About OTG Master

OTG Master lets Android devices access USB drives that use encrypted volumes, without requiring root access. Users connect a drive through a USB OTG cable or adapter, unlock the selected volume with a password, recovery key, keyfile, or biometric authentication, and then work with files through Android’s built-in Files app. It supports VeraCrypt, LUKS1, LUKS2, and BitLocker volumes, as well as reading APFS drives from Mac systems. For supported file systems, the app can read and write FAT32, exFAT, NTFS, and ext4 partitions. The app scans MBR or GPT partition tables and lets the user select the volume to unlock. An optional read-only mode can help avoid accidental changes to a mounted partition. Known drives can be unlocked automatically on connection using biometrics, and multiple drives connected through a hub can be handled in a single biometric step. Keyfiles can be used alongside or instead of passwords, non-default PIM values are supported, and AES and Serpent ciphers are listed. OTG Master is designed for standard Android devices and requires Android 8.0 or later, a USB OTG adapter, and a compatible encrypted USB drive or APFS drive. The product states that files remain on the device and that it uses no cloud service or tracking. Its scope is accessing external encrypted storage; it does not describe creating or managing encrypted volumes. The read-only option and unlock methods are practical controls for users who need to inspect files while minimizing unintended writes.
