About OttoRice
OttoRice is a Windows desktop theme manager that installs complete desktop setups from a JSON manifest. A setup can include window-management tools, status bars, terminal color schemes, wallpaper, editor themes, and other desktop customizations. The manifest describes what should be installed, allowing a selected theme to configure several compatible applications together. The tool uses transactional backups and automatic rollback, and lets users review proposed changes before installation. This makes it possible to undo a setup if it does not work as expected. It supports a range of desktop customization applications, but compatibility depends on the selected components and versions. OttoRice’s role is coordinating and applying multi-application Windows desktop themes from a structured manifest.
