About Paperless NGX Uploader
Paperless NGX Uploader sends documents from Android apps to a Paperless-NGX server through the system share menu. Users can share one or multiple documents to the uploader, which sends them to the configured server with selected or default tags. A connection test reports whether the server is reachable and whether the credentials are valid. The uploader can retrieve the server’s tags, search or filter them in a selection dialog, and save chosen tags as defaults. Credentials are stored securely and restored when the app starts. Upload status is shown, with a message if an upload fails; after a successful upload, the app returns to the background. The app requires a Paperless-NGX server and its URL, username, and password. It is a share-and-upload client rather than a document archive itself. Uploading from another app follows the ordinary Android share workflow, making it possible to send documents directly into an existing document-management setup.
