About Paperless Share
Paperless Share adds a self-hosted document server as a destination in Android’s share sheet. Users can share a scanned document from another app and send it to their Paperless document archive without first saving it and reopening a separate upload workflow. The app is designed to complement scanning tools that capture documents on the phone. Paperless Share is not a standalone document archive. It requires an accessible Paperless server that the user operates or has access to. Its role is to provide a direct Android sharing route into that server, making it easier to transfer a document from a scanning or file app. The app is intended for people who already use a compatible document-management server and want a quick mobile upload path. It focuses on receiving shared documents and passing them to the configured archive.
