About PeakOrama

PeakOrama displays mountains visible from a selected location. Users can search for a place or use the device’s GPS, then rotate the mountain panorama manually, by compass heading, or in the direction of movement. A compass-offset setting can adjust the view if the device remains misaligned after calibration. A working internet connection is required, and each location downloads about 5–10 MB of data. The app does not support placing marks on the view. PeakOrama combines location selection with an interactive panorama for identifying surrounding peaks, with orientation controls for matching the display to the real landscape. It can help identify peaks before or during an outing.
