About Pebble
Pebble is a local-first desktop email client that keeps mail data, search indexes, attachments, rules, and settings on the user’s device by default. It supports multiple accounts in a unified inbox, threaded and message-list views, search, advanced filters, automatic rules, snoozing, archiving, and batch actions. Mail can be organized and revisited through a Kanban board with To Do, Waiting, and Done columns. The application includes keyboard-first navigation, a command palette, translation for bilingual reading, and light and dark themes. It supports Gmail and IMAP accounts, with experimental support for Outlook. Mail and attachments are stored locally, credentials are encrypted with a per-device key, and telemetry is not used. Optional WebDAV backup covers settings and productivity data. Pebble combines email handling with local search and task organization in one desktop workspace.
