About Pie Launcher
Pie Launcher is an Android launcher that opens a radial menu of apps with a swipe. The pie-shaped menu places a small set of shortcuts around a central point, making it possible to launch frequently used apps from anywhere on the screen. Users can choose four, six, or eight icons for the menu and edit which apps appear. For less frequently used apps, the launcher provides a searchable app list where users can type a name. Long-pressing an app in the list opens the pie-menu editor. The interface is designed around repeated gestures and spatial memory, allowing common choices to become familiar without relying on fixed home-screen positions. Pie Launcher is open source and offers an alternative to a conventional icon grid. It combines a small set of gesture-accessible favorites with search for the full list of installed apps, keeping the home screen flexible while making common apps quick to open.
