About Pix
Pix is a desktop shell for a coding agent, providing a graphical interface while keeping configuration, packages, sessions, and tools in the agent’s native environment. It can restore the last workspace from desktop preferences, helping users return to an ongoing coding session. The application is built as an Electron desktop client, while the underlying agent retains its own settings and installed capabilities. This provides a desktop experience for working with coding sessions without moving configuration into a separate, incompatible system. Pix is an interface around an existing agent; the coding behavior and available tools depend on the agent setup and its configured models.
